Dixie Nutrition St. George Health Food Store in St. George, UT

Dixie Nutrition St. George storefront

Dixie Nutrition has been St. George's health food store since 1969 — three generations of the Gillespie family, and now a fourth working the floor.

The store opened in Kemp Korner Shopping Center, where it stayed for ten years before outgrowing the space and moving to St. George Boulevard. That building was home for the next four decades, until the roof collapsed on July 5th, 2021. We were closed for forty-five days, found an empty bank building to move into, and kept going. In August of 2023 we opened in our current home at the Shops at Zion.

Same family, same store, fifty-seven years in.

If we don't have it, we'll get it. We've been the special order store since the beginning. Tell us what you're looking for and we'll bring it in. Fifty-seven years of doing this means we know who to call.

Supplements are the heart of this store. Our deepest selection, and staff who can actually help you navigate it.

Bulk herbs, spices, and foods. Over 400 varieties by the ounce. Buy what you need, not what a package decides for you.

Fresh carrot juice and house-blended juice, every day. We press it ourselves and have it ready to go.

Fresh-ground nut butter. Organic almond, peanut, and cashew, ground in store.

Organic produce. Fresh, alongside the rest of the grocery section.

We brought frozen yogurt to St. George. Since 1979, and we still make it the same way — no artificial colors, no artificial sweeteners, with a vegan option every day.

Family owned since 1969, still run by the family. Greg and Torrey Gillespie own and operate the store, with two of their daughters working alongside them.

Easy to find, easy to park. Shops at Zion, next to Outback and the UPS Store, right off the St. George Boulevard exit.
